Our journey

Hi,

We are Mr and Mrs Hoy, but you can call us Gareth and Clare. We first discovered our passion for photography in 2023 during a road trip that took us from our old home in Queensland to our new home in Perth. Back then we only had smart phones and we took 2617 photos over our 2 week trip, and previously we never really thought to take photos of things we were doing, or places we were visiting. After arriving to our new home in Perth we realized that we had just taken more photos in two weeks then we had in the 8 years we had been together, and prior to moving we didn’t really have anything to show our journey. So we decided to change that.

Shortly after arriving in Perth we bought our first camera, a Canon R50 with two kit lenses ,an amazing starting point. We went out everyday with our camera, took it everywhere with us, eventually we got a second camera so we could take photos together because we didn’t just love documenting our journey but we loved to do it together. Now with over 100,000 photos from events, wildlife, landscapes, weddings, holidays, birthday parties and so much more we have come to our mission, and passion.. to provide you with your 2617 photos, and document your journey.
